There is a new Starbucks in town, and it also has the drive thru service, at Jalan Ampang.

But don't be deceived. It's not the Drive Thru that should be the attraction because when you stepped into it, you will be amazed. This is one fine place to chill for coffee lovers or kaki lepak.

Here is the entrance:

Before you reached the entrance, there are some seats outside arranged nicely. I assume it's for the outdoor and the smokers.

Of course, when you entered the building, you will realized it's one of the biggest Starbucks in town, or at least it gives the impression of it.

Love the way that the decoration is being done. Nice and cozy feel...definitely will cause a lot of people to change their mind about Drive Thru and opt to drink in instead.

Here is a panorama view of the Starbucks Drive Thru @ Jalan Ampang. It's quite near my place and it opened until quite late. Will be a good place to go to whenever my siblings drop by in the future.

While I was on the way back from KL, Yen Leng and I made a stop at the Rawang Rest area. I was surprised to find out that there was a Starbucks Drive Thru.

Well, as it was quite late and I was rushing, we didn't go for it. Probably will go for a stop next round...

It was Saturday and we decided to go out to chill after Yen Leng's first week of work in KL.

We went to Midvalley in the afternoon after our lunch at Setapak. We planned to go for a Chinese New Year movie in Midvalley but it was fully booked. So, instead of going for the movie, we went to walk around in the mall instead.

After a day of walking around, we managed to buy some groceries from Aeon as well.

After that, we head to Starbucks in Borders.

It was then that I realized that the Angpow packet given by Starbuck before the Chinese New Year has a bit of surprise. Apparently, there is a barcode in each of the packet that comes with a certain reward. I used one of it and realized that there is a 50% on the beverage that I bought. Well, just for your information, the Starbucks Angpow red packet special reward only last until 15th February 2014, so if you have not redeem yours, it's time to do so...

I was also surprised when the Barista told me that I have a free planner to redeem as well.

I think the barista was awesome as she helped me to check on what I could redeem from my Starbucks card as well. Some of the barista wouldn't do that for you.

Apparently, this cover can be used to put the tablet as well....I doubt I'll used it though....probably, it'll just be another collection.

Yesterday I went out with Addie and Jun Jet. It was so long since I last saw Jun Jet and he definitely keep his body in good shape. Alright, I'm envy of that. Anyway, we had some great time chilling at Midvalley and The Gardens.

While we ordered our drinks at Starbucks, they gave us free Starbucks Angpao packet.

Anyway, it's great to be finally having the Chinese New Year mood...it's holiday!! It's Chinese New Year...it's family time...it's time to get to hear stories from others...feeling happy about it!!

Well, there is a good thing about surfing the net in Starbucks now. Those who wanted to use the internet will have to request for a pin.

Well, the good thing about this is less people using the wifi and thus better connectivity.

I'm gonna enjoy my morning with Starbucks while waiting for YenLeng to finish her exam...

Chill out at Starbucks, just like old times. Well, it was great to spend time with people that you have not seen for a long time, all the more when they bring their other half to meet up together.

Yesterday, after so many times, we finally managed to meet up. Tom, myself and Lai WeiHoong. The big guy finally got himself a girlfriend. Haha! Well, we used to hang out a lot at Starbucks during university days.

I even managed to force him to treat the two of us.

As usual, I got the Caramel Macchiato.

Well, he even bring along his girlfriend, Regina and the surprising thing is that she so happen to be a colleague of my ex-colleague, Yen See.

Anyway, it was just great to chill out at Starbucks on a lovely Saturday.

I went to Starbucks for a cup of coffee and some makan session.

For those of you who do not know, the Starbucks Tom Yam Bruschetta is amazing....it tastes amazing. A good friend of mine, Yong once recommend this to me while we hang out at Starbucks after work.

Guess it's not complete without a cup of coffee at Starbucks....decided to have Americano lately to cut down on my sugar intake.

Of course it's not as good as my favorite Caramel Macchiato, I think it is important to take care of my food and drink intake nowadays....I'm getting older already....oops!! Sign of old age and maturity (syok sendiri)...
