Moyes' winning start for Manchester United

Well, it looks like the story continues for Manchester United.

A new manager, but the same old Manchester United.

The new man in charge

And even when the Red Devils continue to have problem finding a quality midfielder, Manchester United hit 4 goals past Swansea on an away game. If we are talking about some Old Trafford game against a new promotion side, that could be another story....but Swansea, who are so organize and swift in their passing game. And Moyes' ensure that it is a swift transition for Manchester United....a 4-1 win seems to shut the critics for now.

Manchester United probably have the best and sharpest striker in Van Persie. There is the Spanish goalkeeper, De Gea who has limitless potential and already am a world class goalkeeper at only the age of 22. Were United sign a complement midfielder to Carrick, the Red Devils would have been the favourites for the title.

Who will partner with Carrick?

The crushing victory against Swansea simply emphasize the effectiveness of the Red Devils in winning games, even when they are not at their best. The first 20 minutes was quite bad for the English champions as Swansea showcase their amazing passing game, but United has managed to limit their chances with the firm defense by Vidic and Ferdinand, as well as De Gea at the post. Well, the game is controlled by Swansea but United managed to create some deadly chances but failed to take them.

Ryan Giggs elected to try and find Welbeck when it seemed more obvious to go for goal himself, before Michel Vorm turned over Phil Jones' volley. Even Van Persie had failed to take a decent opportunity.

Flying Dutchman

But when the Dutchman evaded the attentions of the home defence and was allowed to drift into space behind the centre-halves because Angel Rangel wasplaying him onside, there was only ever likely to be one outcome. In the space of 2 minutes, Welbeck add to another goal for United.

Rooney was introduced for Giggs shortly afterwards, a move well received by the visiting contingent, who bellowed the striker's name in their usual manner, with no hint of annoyance. The chant of "Rooney, Rooney" might play a crucial role in ensuring the forward's stay at Old Trafford.

And Rooney claimed an assist for Van Persie's second, finding his strike partner with a short pass.

Williams paid the price for standing off on the edge of his own box and after Van Persie stepped round Chico Flores he applied a brutal finish from 20 yards that flew into the top corner.

Welbeck finally start scoring...

Bony netted a consolation for Swansea but the contest itself was already over. Of course, Welbeck ensured that his critics will be quiet with his wonderful chipped finish.

Rooney on his own? No celebration from him for the goals from RVP and Welbeck

Moyes....a winning start...
Up next would be Chelsea at Old Trafford.....can Moyes beat Chelsea on the pitch and on the transfer saga of Wayne Rooney?
