Fabregas might start ahead of Diego Costa |
Spain suffered a shock and embarrassing defeat to Netherlands with a 5 goals to 1, which was earned from a soft penalty. Against Chile, Spain will most definitely see some changes from the side that lost to Netherlands.
Speculations have been made in regards to how the defending champion line up would shape against Chile....among those would be Cesc Fabregas replacing Diego Costa and Pedro Rodriguez could come in for David Silva. Captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas' spot is also under close scrutiny after a terrible judgement in the game against Netherlands.
Big games by Arturo Vidal and Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez are crucial to Chile's chances and it's likely that Chile will attack on the break. The first game between Spain and Netherlands showed that a quick attack on the break could just be the trick to tear the defending champions apart.
What is your take? Spain or Chile? I'm going for Chile!! Let's see how it turn out to be tonight!!
