The reason for that is because I have yet to get my TypeCover. It's back in Ipoh while I'm stuck having to work in KL. Anyway, the experience of using it as a tablet was okay but I'll talk about that later.
I have been using Surface Pro 4 for some of my work at The Edge, writing on Word and also searching for information via the internet, using WiFi. The experience of studying on my Surface was great as well and how writing become more natural with the SurfacePro.
With all these activities and listening to some music on YouTube, here's how long my battery last.

The snapshot was taken on March 4, 2016 at 12.45am as you can see on the date. And the last plugged out date was on March 1, 2016 at 4.30pm. It lasted for about 2 days and 8 hours. Of course, there is a lot of standby mode through the usage as well but it was just awesome.
When I used it on extreme condition, playing YouTube and leaving the screen on for the whole day, it lasted for about 4 to 6 hours. I think that's still great. The weakness is of course in the power and battery settings, make sure you set the screen on battery power or plugged in, turn off after a few minutes (your preference). Just don't set it to never because otherwise, your SurfacePro would have been burning.
I think it definitely hit all the right note so far!!
Battery life is just great as a tablet and superb as a laptop!!
I've yet to try this gadget but it looks like a wonderful product!
