Goodbye Lumia 1520, Hello Lumia 950

It has been a great pleasure using Nokia Lumia 1520.

Besides the lousy front camera, I have no complaints on the Windows device...hardly any lag in performance and has been very helpful for my work, studies and social life.

Of course, the lack of apps make Windows OS less desirable and at times frustrated...imagine your friend with a Samsung device going to Starbucks to redeem certain drinks by using the Starbucks app on Android but you've got to use the Starbucks card to buy a drink.

Thankfully, I'm not a gamer and hardly has the problem faced with the lack of apps. I've got everything else covered...email was good on the mobile device, if not better. The ability to work on-the-go with Word, Excel and reading was great on the Lumia 1520. Camera, I think it's one of the best in its' class except for the lousy front camera.

But then again, all good things must come to an end.

Last Sunday, while I was back in Ipoh and rushing to church, the moment I left my dad's Myvi, the Lumia 1520 dropped and I was left cursing because the church's parking is like a normal road condition...guess what...the cracked was unbelievable.

I did try to salvage it by going to the mobile shops to ask on the repair but just to fix the screen, it'll cost me RM500 at least. And I've to wait for about 3 days to a week, because according to the few guys that I asked around, they need to book and order the screen if I wanted to repair it.

It was really a great two years with the Windows OS and I honestly love my Lumia 1520 more than what my previous iPhone 4 could do.

Well, Goodbye Lumia 1520....and I've got myself another Windows 10 mobile....
