It is rather sad to say this about a former boss of the Red Devils but for David Moyes, he has basically lost his credibility after successive failures since Manchester United.

Out of 713 votes, 55% feels that David Moyes is not the right man for West Ham. While only time can tell if he could succeed at West Ham, here is a look at some of his track record.
Moyes' failure at Manchester United
It must not be easy but for someone to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson, who has just guided the Red Devils to another Premier League title and did so badly, it's just not acceptable.
Here's his track record at Manchester United.
His first unofficial game as United manager ended in defeat as Teeratep Winothai scored the only goal for Singha All Stars in Bangkok on 13 July 2013.
Under Moyes, United were ninth in the table after 15 games, 13 points behind leaders Arsenal. He was in charge of United for 10 months, the third shortest managerial stint in United history. At the time of his sacking, United were seventh in the Premier League table, 13 points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with four matches remaining, ensuring United would fail to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1995 and finish outside of the top three for the first time in Premier League history.
The good news for him though is the £5 million in compensation from his sacking.
Real Sociedad
If you think that Moyes' failure at Manchester United is due to the high expectations of the club, he proved otherwise when he tried his trade in Spain.
On 10 November 2014 Moyes was appointed as the new manager of La Liga club Real Sociedad on an 18-month deal after the dismissal of Jagoba Arrasate, with the team lying in 15th in the table.
His managerial debut was an away league match against Deportivo La Coruña on 22 November, which ended in a goalless draw. Six days later, in his first home match at Anoeta, he earned his first victory as the club's manager, Carlos Vela scoring a hat-trick in a 3–0 win over Elche. On January 4, 2015, Moyes led Sociedad to a 1–0 win over Barcelona.
He was sacked on 9 November 2015 after coming under increasing pressure due to a poor start to the season.

Return to Premier League in Sunderland - the first relegation
There is a lingering feeling that his success at Everton means Moyes is indeed a capable manager and on July 2016, Sunderland confirmed the appointment of Moyes as new manager, replacing Sam Allardyce, thus returning to the Premier League for the first time since his sacking as United boss in April 2014.
But the return to Premier League is not one full of pleasure for Moyes because Sunderland were confirmed to be relegated to the EFL Championship for the first time in ten years after a 1–0 loss to Bournemouth, marking the first relegation of Moyes' career. After the match, Moyes stated that he would like to remain as manager. However on May this year, one day after the end of the Premier League season, Moyes resigned as Sunderland manager.
Can he save West Ham?
It's really a question that is too difficult to answer...a new manager, a new motivation and a new style of play...it might helps to rejuvenate West Ham given the players that they have, which is not too bad to be honest.
A look at Everton's success under Moyes...to be honest, not much...in fact, the only trophy Moyes has ever won as a manager, is when he was with Manchester United, and it is the FA Community Shield. If I were a West Ham fan, I would have expect a rather forgettable season this year.
