He called Ochoa the "hero" of the match.
And here's what Brazil coach, Scolari said about Ochoa.
"I did not like their goalkeeper. He was really spectacular, he did a great job, he was calm and confident on the pitch -- he was the man of the match," Scolari told a news conference.
Such was the influence of the player that even Scolari hailed his effect.
Here are a summary of some great saves by Ochoa.
In the 26th minute, when Dani Alves' cross found Neymar in space, Ochoa stopped the Brazilian's header with a diving save to his right, palming the ball away as it was level with the goal line.
Another set piece by Brazil was denied by Ochoa from point-blank range.
Ochoa continued his fine performance into the second half, denying Neymar's blast after good work from halftime substitute Bernard.
The Mexico stopper then saved his best for last, sticking out his right hand to deny Thiago Silva's close-range header with great reflexes.
Of course, the game also highlighted Brazil's weakness...when Neymar fail to click, Brazil stumble.
It was an evenly balanced game at the Arena Castelao, with Mexico not allowing Brazil to take control. El Tri didn't play defensively and created chances throughout the match, especially with long-range shots by midfielders Hector Herrera and Jose Vazquez.
Brazil, playing without striker Hulk, turned up the pressure in the second half, but there was no getting past Ochoa.
Given the woeful form that Mexico showed in qualifying, this is a rather remarkable performance so far. Credit must go to Miguel Herrera, who has restored confidence and helped this talented side to come together. The national side is on fire now, that's for sure, given this draw against home team, Brazil.
Brazil's situation is far from dire, and all that's left is a match against a Cameroon side that Mexico dominated in its opener.

But manager Felipe Scolari will no doubt be concerned about his attack, which hasn't managed to look very fluid outside of some bursts of brilliance from Neymar so far.
